In the Dolna Prespa region, particularly in the village of Nakolec and the surrounding villages, a tradition of organically developed coexistence has existed for decades, perhaps even centuries — rooted in mutual understanding and respect. The everyday lives of the people who live there, and the relationships they have built with one another, form a unique model that conceals a certain code of togetherness and social cohesion among people of different ethnic, religious and other backgrounds.
